Hello!

With over 25 years of experience, I have taught art to students of all ages from Kindergarten to College. I hold a Masters in Art Education and am certified by the National Board in Art K-12. Throughout my career, I have taught at various levels and institutions, including Winthrop University, where I taught Secondary Methods in Art Education for a decade. Currently, I teach Art 1, Art 2, and AP Art and Design at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where I have been for 17 years. Teaching is my passion, and I cannot imagine my life without it!

In addition to teaching, leading student tours abroad is my one of my passions. Countries that we have visited many times include Italy, Spain, Greece, England, and France. There is nothing like witnessing the pure joy that seeing the arts and monuments of Europe brings to students!

Finally, I am a wife of 35 years to my husband who is a Pastor, and have three wonderful children, two of which are also teachers. My youngest is still in school and will attend the high school where I teach next year! Our dog Dottie and cat, Tilly round out our family bunch. As a family we enjoy traveling to the coast and off shore fishing on our boat.
